As of right now, I believe these are the latest.
Soon they'll be releasing the new gen that are brighter / more lumens. Though I find this gen plenty bright for my needs... Hope that means we'll see more discounts on these, the prices seem to be all over the place these last few months.

I opted for VOCOlinc smart bulbs as they are economical and Apple Homekit compatible and don’t need bridge etc.

BestBuy doesn’t mention how bright are these Hue bulbs, 700lm, 1100 or 1400?

actually not quite sure. Last I thing I knew was bluetooth functionality was added to 4th gen. There may be a 5th gen out there.

I like bridged, my 50 hue lights with bridge can’t destroy my router.

I use WIX for ones I don't care about controlling/colour changing often & hue for anything I want as a show or with hue entertainment. All exterior lights and most interior lights hooked up now + 40 nanoleaf panels. FWIW I have had 3 of these bulbs in outdoor fixtures & 4 GU10s in a covered spot for 18months and all still work through winter/heat.
$33 bulbs is a great deal. Disappointed to miss this but I imagine they do more sales shortly.
