I wonder if the best deal so far for PS5 was shoppers drug mart yesterday, the God of war bundle for 20% off $656.69 after taxes

It's about time non bundles are available again. I've only seen one other thread like this recently, hopefully it's the new norm.

Honestly If you were to buy a ps5... Unless it is for a child.. There's no reason not to pickup with God of War Ragnarok/bundle... Unless of course it is something you won't actually play...

Yes they did, was a big controversy in the gaming community, especially since they raised MSRP in a bunch of countries except the states

Oh damn, they're no longer comically large?

This is the lowest price I've seen, but at these prices, I probably won't be buying it until another 2 years, or when I decide to work again lol...

I guess I'll never see the equivalent of $229 PS4 pricing that I got at BBBY in 2017...

Edit: Dio Mio, BBBY may not even be there in 2 years! Hmm those cum. gain metrics are really misleading, this graph should be red...

I got a PS3 for $280 a few years after it came out. It was the newer and better-built slim model too so there was also that and it came with a free game (MGS IV). That was pretty reasonable for a console. The PS5 on the other hand has actually gone up lol. XBox Series S for me as a result lol we're consumers gotta go wherever the most value is for you not be loyal to one brand. If people game a lot more and see value in a PS5 then they should get that still.

Yea... pretty sure that's the exact reason they would choose not to buy it in the first place.. seems pretty common sense

Oh shit, I forgot about the XBox S, it's like $229 now right? I bought Game Pass Ultimate for $55 for three-years, might as well leverage that with an S-series.

I got my PS3 SLIM in 2012 for $150 with GTA V from shop.ca - coupon gangbang. Of course, shop.ca no longer exists, go figure...Since the PS3/PS4(and thus 5) games don't overlap. I'm happy with my purchase series. I think I got an XBox 360 for $129 in 2010? Basically had it modded at P-Mall for $100 bucks - don't even have to buy games. Yeah, I feel like I'm playing more deal games than actual video games...I've been a long-time RFD-er lol.

The PS4 went up in price after launch too:

They adjusted the wrong way, the console is over 2 years old now.

Seeing as this is RFD: paying full price for a game also stings.
