An alternative to the KEF LS50 speakers that go for a similar price when on sale. These are Polk's flagship bookshelf speaker that originally had a $2000 MSRP when released and are well-reviewed. Apparently Best Buy has bought out the remaining stock. Note these are a largish bookshelf so you may be able to get away without a sub for music. FYI these were on sale at B.B. last summer for $735 so they may be cheaper when we get into the summer.
