[Best Buy] Samsung 65" 4K UHD HDR Curved LED Tizen Smart TV (UN65MU7600FXZC) $1400

I saw this TV is $800 off in store (Kanata, Ontario) even though it is $200 off online. IMO it is a very good deal if you are in the market for a TV. Don't think BF will have better deal and if it does, you can try price match. :)

Compared to this one, are there any significant differences?

As per the specs for the UN65MU6500FXZC and UN65MU7600FXZC, the only difference i found was that the former uses 250W of power at max and the latter 180W of power.

Is that difference in power worth the difference in price? For a while the UN65MU6500 was going for $1199.99.

I was looking at this TV too, but after seeing it in store, curved doesn't do much for me. Feels more like a gimmic. I sit too far away to really feel the "curve". I think curved TV's are best when they are gaming monitors and you're sitting very close to them to get that "immersion" feeling of a curve TV.

I also think these prices are dropping cause they are trying to get rid of the older models. But this is purely my opinion and theory.

The 7600 has wide colours the 6500 not. Both suck at 24p (Movies) and neither has local dimming (for black.)

Anyone have their curved TV mounted? How does it look? Looking at placing this in the basement. Price is good with mount and installation!
