Note will go extinct as they drop too late into the CPU life cycle.

It will happen.

Nice find OP, this has been the best price since the discount code during the release.

I was looking for the same thing after the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max sales yesterday. Too bad there's nothing in my area.

Out of stock. Probably, the staff just sweeps them off once the sale is announced.

You're inviting some foul comments with this question. We're better than that here.

Serious answer:

A Geek Squad Certified Open Box product is a returned item that’s been rigorously inspected, tested, cleaned, and certified for resale via our online outlet centre.

To receive our all-important Geek Squad certification, an item must be in perfect working order and cosmetically flawless. If any parts need to be replaced, Geek Squad agents will only use original parts from the manufacturer.

If an item satisfies our stringent testing and cosmetic criteria, it’s then repackaged with all of its original accessories, resealed, and can now be purchased at a discounted price—with a full warranty—in our online outlet centre.

I never worry about that stuff. I just fully inspect anything I get open box or refurbished for defects, and keep or return.

I would've bought the plus and ultra for dual phone use, but it's too much capital burn (affordable but I can't justify it).

I want one unitary device early in the life cycle, so I get the plus even though the Note is more sexy.

My next big want is a rollable screen Samsung phone. Better than foldable, and thin.

18 to 24 months away, based on industry estimates.

In the meantime, I'll keep upgrading to the latest and greatest S Plus phone each year.
