If I wasn't saving my money for the S10+, I would get this one just like that.

Wish koodo would have good deals on the note phones. Would jump on it right quick.

Waiting for the non edge galaxy..finally coming true. Tired of the stupid curved gimmick screen and how fragile it is.

That's a fantastic price for arguably the POTY. Had to talk myself out of getting it. Thumbs up to OP for sharing the deal though.

I paid $450 taxes in for it with Koodo during the Black Friday rush. Converted my $60 10GB plan to $45 8GB + 2GB Bonus, added Note 9 with $200 HUP discount on a Medium tab ($15 a month) so it brought the Note 9 down from $600 to $400 and I added $360 to my tab. Also got $180 billing credit so I pay half that tab.

So essentially I paid $400 + $52 tax, $360 tab - $180 = $180 over 12 months. But since I was already paying $60 per month anyways before all of this, I don't even feel the tab being there.

$450 Note 9 while all of Redflag was chasing after a useless now overbought Huawei P20 Pro + Watch that won't sell on Kijiji due to sheer numbers.

I thank all those people for literally helping me get a way better deal.

if you find an open box in store you can still negotiate the price, around 5% to 10% off usually if you tack on the warranty (which can be cancelled within 30 days).

though, when i worked at bestbuy we used the instore open boxes to run demos (installing apps in them, running spheros and drones etc). We dropped them seldom also so just an FYI.

Not understanding your math here..."So essentially I paid $400 + $52 tax, $360 tab - $180 = $180 over 12 months.". that mean in case you cancel you will pay $400+$52tax+$360tab+ taxes= that's not $450 as you are stating? even though $180 is getting deducted over 12months

Going from $60 - 10GB to $45 - 8+2GB savings of $15/month
Tab additional $15/month
Net wash $0 impact.

Upfront cost to the person 600-200+52 in taxes(13% HST I assume) = $452 for Note 9

Although if they were to cancel prior to 2 years - phone cost would be $452 + (Remaining monthsx$15+Tax)

Essentially phone still costs 760+HST but to the person the 360 was being paid anyways ($15 per month)

Ahan..yes not that's the price if one is staying with them and pay the monthly tab , if someone is cancelling then it will cost $452+$360+tax, almost equal to what best buy Note 9 open box
