Same price at SDM. Combined with 20x points or bonus redemption. Much better deal

Anyone know if you can store apps on the SD card?

According to the Amazon reviews, no. Not without rooting and doing some sort of workaround at least. Crazy of Samsung to block a native android feature like that.

As of Android 11, Google seems to have decided that storing apps on the SD card is problematic and will no longer be supported. There are workarounds for the moment, but the future of this feature looks murky.

As for buying electronics from SDM, one always has to take into account the extra risk that SDM will not accept returns on opened items if they are defective out of the box.

I believe there’s also a redemption event this week-end

You can still get your 1 year warranty with Samsung, it's not like you are picking up a no name electronic device. For up to 33% off additional saving (when redeem with points this weekend), it's worth the risk to me.

SDM only has the 229$ for this weekend, no 279$ model.

Local Costco has plenty of them, and they come with a 64 GByte microSD card included, which the other stores don't seem to have at the $229 price.

However Amazon and Best Buy are offering 2 mo. free Youtube Premium, but only until until April 5, 2021. :)

Question:

It apparently has a "quad speaker" setup.
Does this mean that regardless of orientation (landscape/portrait), it still plays proper stereo (as in left/right channel)?
Can someone confirm, please?

I haven't done it myself but I read that an app called App Manager 3 can let you do this

Too bad the Onn Tablet Pro is sold out and the Fire HD 10 is still at $200.

I think that's now true for all Android 11 devices, and will remain true going forward.

Bought today solely to screen mirror to the family hub fridge. Worked until I wanted to mirror Rogers ignite tv. Then got a no can do. Returning it tomorrow.
