[Best Buy] Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6' Tablet - 229.99$ (Costco as well)...

Hi there,

Wow, 100$ off of the Samsung Galaxy Tab E, the 9.6 inch one. Looks like a good deal for those who need a basic tablet.

Also, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (8 inch) is also on sale, but 50$ off... But for 30$ difference, might as well get the bigger one...

The S2 is also on sale, 70$ off...

Note that Costco also have them on sale for a few dollars less. However, they have a 90 days return policy, compare to BB...

I had the Tab E at Xmas, the screen is terrible, back-light bleed on dark displays and visible lines at certain angles

I have a Tab A from the TD deal, pretty happy for a basic tablet but not worth 200$ IMO

Got the chuwi hi10 for 206 cad, 1200p screen,

Moved my router to my new xb1 and ps4, hooked them up directly via Ethernet, and I stream my games to my tablet , and it's hell of a crisp. More so on xb1 than ps4 , gotta figure out why though

Ugly screen.

I bought a 10" Lenovo Tab a few months ago, 1080p screen from Best Buy for $249. It goes to that price quite regularly if you keep an eye out.

Better deal than this.

Don't you have to order the Xiaomi tablets from ******** or other Chinese merchants?

Budget tablet or not, the screen on this is well below-average (even for this price range). Think 1990s GPS screen quality (limited contrast, bleed, tinting issues) and a meagre 1280x800 stretched over almost 10" of screen estate.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad can be ordered from just about any of the Chinese online stores (********, etc)... But bear in mind that it also comes with the dangers of buying tech from these Chinese merchants: limited warranty, very little in the way of aftersales support, etc etc.

Agreed...or my favourite: You receive a defective unit and YOU are on the hook to ship it back to them in China at your cost. I had a tablet/computer ordered from ******** with bubbles all over the edges of the screen. I had to open a dispute with Paypal and in the end they sided with ******** (they will send you a refund but YOU have to pay to ship it back). So, be prepared to "eat" whatever amount you are spending with them if there is an issue. Even a small/light package costs $$$ to ship to China with some form of tracking or signature requirement.

Indeed. Though ******** does state their policy on their site, if I'm not mistaken. Paypal will only refund up to $30 in the return shipping fee, so for a tablet one should still expect to be shelling out mucho dinero.
