You don’t need to buy Switch specific microsd but for those that like the Animal Crossing branding $85.99 CDN is a hot deal. Amazon has it as deal if the day for $109.99 It may be a price error as Best Buy US also has it on sale for $85.99US Sale ends today! Good Luck!

These Switch cards are rebranded Extreme if I recall. Solid write speeds, Ultra isn't even half as fast in that department.

I bought a 512 GB Samsung EVO Plus from Best Buy last year for $79.99 so $5 more for a branded product (that are ALWAYS more expensive) isn't bad at all.

Plus yeah if you have the Animal Crossing Switch the theme definitely works 🤣

Are you sure about this? The ultra is 100 mb/s the same as this. Extreme is like 170.

I think this is a branded Ultra

Ultra they never list the write speed because it's so slow, I've used both many times and Ultra is painfully slow to write to.

Possibly last-gen extreme in Read spec, but that's a lot less important.

I bought a Sandisk Ultra 1tb last month for my switch I had the 512gb before.

It's for the boomer parents and grandparents that think you need a card with a Switch label on it in order to use.

ya i can see that for sure. probably half them, half super fans of the collaboration (animal crossing in this case). seeing 6 left in stock has my fomo firing on all cylinders though. should prolly lock my wallet up for the night! :lol:
