Can someone help me understand why is it specifically mentioning nintendo switch? Like isnt this just a class 'xx' card that can be put in anything? When I google it all I find is that the nintendo ones are overpriced, but this is a good price so I'm missing something

Thanks!

Obviously no Time Machine but the “Mario Star” version was $16.40 back in 2021… Probably $20 would be a good price for these or something similar now. That being said, for casual or even “enthusiast” photographers/videographers these worked great for me. No issues with 100mbit 4K video recording or burst shooting.

Precisely my thoughts. I've been using the Samsung 256GB EVO Plus in my V1 Nintendo Switch and it's been working well so far - it's up for $26 right now.
I must admit that pink does looks kinda cool.
