I believe no watch has an ECG. Even apples is basically simulated through use of a number of techniques. The device needs to be certified to use the term and requires a lot of hurtles to jump through. I wanted a watch with blood oxygen and pressure. Still in the works apparently.

The technology exists to do all of it but is not practical. Also can run a smart watch fully on body heat.

Only the latest apple watch has ECG.

Samsung Active 2 's hardware supports ECG, but software has not come out yet for ECG support.

Newest Garmin watches have spO2 pulse OX.

I'm looking to replace my Garmin Forerunner 230 I got 5 years ago because its battery life is really low. I've since gotten into longer activities like ultra runs and century rides, does anyone know (other than the fenix series) if the battery life of any of these watches exceeds 8hrs in real life conditions?

FR245 running with GPS on will be 24h, if you add music then it's 6h
need more, you can go for 645 or 945, but they are pricier

As pointed out above - not a true ecg at this time. Still need to get one acquired by a trained person with proper equipment.

If anyone is looking for Forerunner 645 music (specifically in cerise, though you can just change the band later), I suggest using Altitude Sports to pricematch this.

It's $480 instead of $580, plus you can get Altitude cashback through Rakuten. It's what I did and it went perfectly.
