[Best Buy] Sodastream Jet $47.99; Fizzi $69.99

Bestbuy has the Fizzi version white or black for 69.99 and CT has black Jet for 47.99 (https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/soda ... p.html#srp)

Aesthetically fizzi looks nicer and it has a snap in bottle clicking mechanism which is supposedly better but I've never used it so I'm not sure if it's really worth the 22$+tax difference.

Also, I believe that the jet model is supposed to be phases out so I'm not sure if the bottle included in the kit has already expired or will expire shortly. If so, then it kinda nullifies the price difference I guess.


Welcoming all suggestions for syrups and if you have hands on experience with either of the models please share.

Oooh, the wife is looking for one of these for XMas, this seems like a decent deal. Went with the fizzi for the snap in mechanism, I think that's more wife/child friendly. :)

Fizzi has a better bottle selection,
You can't use the slimmer bottles in the Jet or Genesis

Jet will probably suffice for your needs, but it sounds like it has less support for different bottles and it's got a twist bottle locking mechanism as opposed to snap.

Got the Fizzi from BB&B for 59 after using the 25% off coupon. Only problem is that they don't ship it, so gotta go in-store to pick it up

I'm getting it because I feel bad about buying and throwing out those plastic bottles every week. I thought if I recycled them it was okay but I recently learned that it's just a scam and it rarely ever really gets reused and that it just becomes a huge pile of garbage.

It has a gas canister that is potentially explosive. Can't be shipped by anybody by regular mail.
