Can you configure it with a AV receiver?

I believe you need to link it with the Sonos playbar, beam or arc.

I have the Sonos sub (gen3) and the beam. This thing gives off amazing bass. So much I have it turned down so much or the house rattles

question for peeps with a sub setup. I have a beam and 2 sonons one connected. Will this be overkill for my tiny condo apartment? I often have to turn down the bass on the ones. Find them too powerful.

You're right. I was hoping someone would convince me to buy the sub :)

I’ve got 8 Sonos speakers and an amp and can’t bring myself to spend this much on a sub that will not work for anything else and likely be unusable in 10 years...good deal but they really should add a port so you can use it with a receiver if you want.

No..I have the Arc SL, two Ones and a Gen 3 Sub....mind you in a house but it sounds 10X different.

The Sonos app allows you to use a "night mode" where it reduces bass but balances everything out.

I'd say buy the sub and see?

I only find it strange they don't give power (watts RMS and peak) for a subwoofer. First time I see this.

Easily the best sub with the sonos arc... can't explain how clean it is. I love my current setup and the sub has force cancelling so there is no vibration. Every review says to get the dual sub if you can afford it.

Anyone know if I can just go to best buy with the receipt or do I need to bring the product as well to price adjust?
