[Best Buy] Sony LFS50G Bluetooth Speaker w. Google Assistant - PRICE ERROR!

Was camping this for quite some time hoping for a good sale. Just happen to stumble across it today with a price error. It says on BB regular price is $149 marked down to $99, but it actually retails for $249 (thesource and Sony.ca).

Error or just a greater discount on a mediocre product?

review doesn't look good

I don't care about gesture controls not working every single time. I use all of my GH speakers handsfree any way and use routines to automatically adjust the speaker volume throughout the day. If the review is accurate, this thing should outperform a Google Home (albeit slightly and possibly with a better bass-response), and it is cheaper, so that might just work for for me.

It would've been solid if it had an aux input and an internal battery though, but now I'm just reaching I guess?

Thanks op. I reserved two! Winking Face

Better to get a Google Home, guaranteed to get all updates (updates in last couple years include outbound calling, broadcast, audio grouping). I would not get this.
