Do I get a soundbar to accommodate the 55", or stick with Amp+5.1 and the 49".

My wife will not let me have the TV overlap the front window LOL
i hope u drive a good car!

The Sony HT-ST5000 is a pretty great soundbar. I highly recommend it over the Sonia Arc or any others at that $1000 price point. Definitely doesn’t beat a proper 5.1+ speaker arrangement, but I love the space savings and that it’s more kid/pet friendly.

I’ve had mine since October and it’s been excellent all around, surprisingly great for music.

I got a new Sony HT-ST5000 for $750+tax since the open box they gave me was broken. I also got this with a purchase of a Sony TV. I would highly recommend this product at this price range.
