[Best Buy] Soundcore by Anker Life Tune Pro (Q35) Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headphones - $110

Q30 was on sale on Amazon for $90 couple of days ago

Q35 price went down to $110 couple of time on amazon.ca.

Some people (not me) may find added features on Q35 worth the price difference

I have a 7 hour flight in a few weeks (not a frequent flyer) and figured I might as well get a good set of earphones for the trip. RFD experts what say you? Are these a good deal or wait out a bit longer?

if you can wait, maybe wait for sale on q30. I remember I compared the q30 and q35 before I bought in summer. q35 just has one more feature that I didn't really want. I don't remember which feature. speaking of q30, the noise cancellation is so good. not mention the sound quality. oh my! this headphone is no difference from those 300--400 dollars Sony headphones for most people

The Q30 don’t have ANC when in wired mode is the biggest difference between it and the Q35 I believe.

Soundpeats A6 on Walmart for $50 are a good alternative with ANC

These would be fine to use on a flight as the active noise cancelling works when the headphones are plugged into the entertainment screen.

Like another poster mentioned before me, the Q30s don't have ANC when plugged in, so worthless on flights.

Get the QC35 from Amazon and return them after the flight if you didn't like them. Best Buy doesn't take returns on headphones.

Not sure I am an audiophile but I've been impressed with these. Great bass. Reasonably comfortable.

Got the renewed version of the Q30 last week for $80 tax in. Comparing this too my Sony 1000Xm2 they are good. ANC is not as good as the Sony let's more noise in rather than the whisper quite of the bigger brands. Sound is good and clear, Bass is strong but not muddy, some separation and ok sound stage. Using these more for TV/movies so wanted to try the 2 device pairings between phone and the BT transmitter on my TV, this does not work as well. It does not switch between the 2 devices smoothly. Need to fiddle around and sometimes disconnect one device for audio to get in from the other. The earcups are wide and open, no hitting ears and making them sweaty, comfort is a big deal with these CANs..

For $80 this is good value to Bose and Sony and much better than the cheaper garbage like Mpow etc...

I bought the Q35 and had the Q20 for a number of years. Anker makes some solid headphones. I also have the Sony MX2. The sony has much better noise cancellation than either the Ankers. But it also cost 4 times as much when I bought it. Between the 2 Ankers, I actually prefer both the sound and the comfort of the Q20. The Q35 is way too bassy and you need the app to adjust the sound profile. Of course that doesn't help if you're on another device, the sound profile doesn't seem to be stored on the headphones. The Q35 also feel a lot warmer in the ear and the padding is not as soft as the Q20's. That said, there are a lot of plusses. Actually being able to adjust the sound is good. It has a transparency mode. It charges with USB-C.
Overall they're great headphones and for $110 it's hard to go wrong, but as another poster mentioned, I would buy it from Amazon, in case you don't like it.

The two device pairing is also an issue with the Q35. Strangely enough it worked perfectly on my Q20's. I wonder what they did to break it.

Then I hope they do a firmware upgrade to fix this issue, if that is even possible.. really is important feature I was looking forward to but as of now it seems broken. It always seem stuck on my phone ignoring the TV BT transmitter, to get the latter playing I need to disconnect from the former.. annoying.
But for less than a 3rd of the price of the XM2, can't really complain. The battery life is also great, will last me a week or more with daily use, throwing away the MPOWs I have used for TV, needed to be charged every day.
