[Best Buy] In stock: Bowflex 552 and Bowflex Bench

Hello,

Just noticed Bowflex Dumbbells in stock on Bestbuy.ca
Bowflex 552 for $580 pair (usually $499 but order now and price match it later! when price drops again)
sold out: Bowflex 1090 for $400 single >>> SOLD OUT WITHIN 45 MINUTES
Bowflex bench and bike also available!

Don't forget to use Rakuten!

1090 has 49 stock left at the moment and moving quick! SOLD OUT WITHIN 45 MINUTES
552 will probably be available for a while as the price is increased. Over 80+ in stock!

lol hold on, what do you mean by "when price drops again?" I'm interested in your price match strategy

It will be 499 again eventually within 30 days. Just call in and have it matched. I predict the price will drop to 499 after it sells out. You will need an agent who is willing to price match the item. This is what happened last time so it is likely to repeat.

That's not price matching, that's called price adjustment...

Seems a little iffy price adjusting for an item that's probably going to be OOS by the time it drops to 499? Per Best Buy's Low Price Guarantee: "The product must be in stock, available for sale, and cannot be a limited time offer, pre-order, or available only in limited quantity"

Thanks OP, purchased the 4.1S bench. Fully adjustable @ 550 weight limit is pretty good for $299, and they seem to have positive reviews on multiple sites.

For those in the GTA, there's always Novalook. Free next day delivery.

https://www.novalook.ca/product-page/no ... -ab-roller

the 90lb pair is still in stock.
promo code bs76v5 knocks $100 off as well.

[PS - i'm not here to start a debate, just an alternative. i've seen some say these are on par with the bowflex. Having never tried the bowflex, I can't comment on the accuracy of that]

I have both. Novalook 90s and Bowflex 552s. They're not as polished but they work exactly as well and I'm very happy with them. I've recommended to friends to save their money and buy the Novalook 52.5s whenever they're cheaper than the Bowflex 552s.

Weider doesn't have any comparable to the 1090s, but if you were looking for the 552s, consider getting the Weider 5-in-1 from Canadian Tire if they have stock around you. I'd say it's a much better design and they're cheaper at $179.99 per dumbbell. Yeah the downside is it's in increments of 10lbs, but you can work around that if you need to.

Here's a quick video I made.

I'm glad to hear that. How is the space between between the lower and upper sections?

There were some complaints on the more expensive model about it being too large for some people to use comfortably. Comparing pictures of the two models it appeared to be a similar size space.

I'm waiting on my order from Areta Fitness but they seem to have good reviews with the only complaints being about delivery time not product.

recently got a pair of novalook 90lbs. Very happy with it, so far so good. Although I've never used the bowflex, just watching some review videos on it they look and function the exact same, might as well slap the logo on it. The bonus is that it costs only 699+ tax and was at my door the next day

Bowflex 552 now sold out online, fell back to $499 as someone had mentioned earlier.

I went with the Novalook suggestion for a higher weight range and availability.

I created an order this morning for the Bowflex 522, and I was able to speak with someone using Live Chat and getting a Low Price Guarantee of $499.00 just now.

Personal experience and preference, obviously, but I had a pair of the 552s and I didn't love how wide they were. I found them a bit cumbersome to use in my natural push/pull lifts. With that said, options are super limited right now.
