The TCL 4 Series sucks compared to the Hisense R61G in my opinion. Not sure if i just got a bad 4 Series from costco but the panel and backlighting was horrid, visible hot spots, and nasty dirty screen effect.

Returned the TCL 4 Series, and got the Hisense R61G for a few dollars more... much better looking panel, better whites/blacks, more uniform backlight in addition to being brighter.

Is this worth a $100 over the https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/rca-58-4k- ... 0201847929? I already got a Fire Stick so I don't think I will be using the built-in smart features a lot.

Also, is this one https://www.amazon.ca/Hisense-50H78G-Sm ... ast_sto_dp worth $40 over the TCL?

What are your guys thoughts on this TCL vs this Hisense at Costco where I have a $50 coupon and the ability to potentially get the Costco extended warranty for $30?

Personally I wouldnt bother using a S4 for Gaming the panel is too washed out, and the backlight is poor. If budget allows try and get a TV with a full array backlight like the Hisense R61G; or a 5 Series from TCL; or if you can swing it a Hisense Q7 or TCL 6 Series which has local dimming.

Also thinking about the RCA 58", i already have a Shield TV and sound bar so thinking this might be a decent deal for me, Currently using a 50" Fluid tv, which would be going into bedroom to replace 40" RCA, lol.
