Thinkware is a reputable brand. May I suggest (LINK) the front and back for $100 more.

$150 is pricey? 70% less than most people's insurance deductible.

Thinkware and Blackvue are probably the best, other than some offbrand models.

I have a couple TW and they're great. Unfortunate that the MSRP wasn't inflated but the after discount price is good.
What the H E double hockey sticks have I done now?

Pretty sure it's manufactured in Korea from a Korean company.

I'm sure they outsource some aspect of their manufacturing in China.

That could be said for nearly every product.

Yes, especially for this type of product and paying such a hefty premium is for those with deep pockets.

Or you can buy, as you suggest, cheap Chinese cams over and over. Been there, done that.

Thinkware is top tier for a reason. Look at the reviews. Buy cheap, buy twice.

I have a Dome dashcam, which isn't a well know brand and it's going strong for the last 4yrs.
I cost me close to $100, but anything more, IMO, is too much.
