"The good news is that the M5 allows you to link the units together using network cables, which will eliminate signal loss completely"

Not true mate.
My apologies I had looked at the Spec Sheet and it specified ports for clients but didn't mention they can backhaul. This is a huge deal actually and make this device very useful if your house is wired with CAT5 or you can drop a wire where you will put this thing.

Why would your wireless system need to connect to the vendor at all times? Holy privacy risk.

Cant find any better deals on there, and also i'm late to this thread as I needed the 3 antenna setup.
Need to put an alert for if price is below $250

False equivalency. Why does my home wifi need to send my browsing habits to the manufacturer of the wifi device?

Can you link me to a policy on their logging of data? How do you know that browsing habits are sent to them?

dont waste your time with mesh, get a good access point from ubiquiti and call it a day
once you venture out of the consumer wifi space, you learn quickly how shitty it is compared to enterprise offerings.

oh and its cheaper.

Or you can try to get a couple Asus routers and use AiMesh. I’m using 3 Asus router now (one for each floor of my house) and works great for a month so far.
