Best Buy USA has the Arcade1Up - Deluxe Edition 12-in-1 Arcade Cabinet with Riser on sale for $279.99. (lowest price I have seen). Remember, Best Buy USA does not ship to mailboxes/forwarders. You can ship to store and pick up.

Home Depot.com and Walmart.com both sell this as well and you can price match to pick up in either store if you like or they will ship it to a mailbox/forwarder.

Considering the riser is about $40 USD the unit is like $239.99.

We need a separate thread for this cabinet vs the existing thread for these cabinets?

Man, for that price, you might as well just get a real cabinet and install your own games on it. But for real, cabinets are a curse. They sound great until you own one, never use it, and have a balls ass hard time either upkeeping it or getting rid of it.

upkeeping it
What upkeep? It just sits there.
Maybe the occasional dusting, but even then...

the problem with getting my head around this.. You can already use old home consoles or a raspberry pi with arcade controllers and emulators and play all these games with someone on a couch on a larger TV screen without the hunchback. I guess if you want something like this in a rec room to occupy space and give the room a certain look like a piece of furniture.

I'm not sure I get it either.
I'd rather have a full sized cabinet.
This just looks uncomfortable.

Or you can get an Arcade Supergun and get original boards.

I have given up on "micro transactions" era and started the move toward collecting arcade original boards.

So far:
Street Fighter 2 WW
Sunset Riders
Ninja Turtles

I had a full sized mame unit. It was cool to play the old games but it wore off quickly. It was terribly heavy too Flexed Biceps

its fine with a stool and I prefer it to the tv in my opinion. The riser tho is a must, but it should be even taller.I have the galaga/galaxian.

Channel Control Merchants in Brantford has some Arcade1Up units for $270 Cdn, including tax. Not sure of the specifics as I didn't look closely.

They may have some at Treasure Hunt in Waterdown, as it's the same people, but I've not been there in a while.

Liquidation warehouse. Stuff is usually 40-80% off the retail prices. They cleared out a lot of Target's stuff.

There isn't a whole lot of high-end merchandise, but you'll find the same sort of stuff that Walmart would sell for the 40-80% less.

They're only open Thurs-Sun. If I'm in on the weekend, I'll look more closely at the boxes.

If I remember, I got my XBox for about 50% off what it was selling elsewhere at the time.
