Better get the at&t iphone 6 32gb instead of the straight talk one. Same price and in the future can actually be unlocked vs straight talk. The issue is they aren't in stock :-( . In my opinion i would go with the se because it's faster than the iphone 6, but if the screen size is the imp factor the iphone 6 would be the better option. The iphone se has basically the internals of the iphone 6s except for the screen and no 3d touch. The iphone 6 is older as well.

So my 11 year old daughter wants an Ipod but am wondering if this one is a better option! I live 45 minutes away from the USA. My thought is I can use this as a cel phone for her in a couple of years...can this one be unlocked? (Sorry, not too knowledgeable about this stuff!)

Found an eBay Listing and the guy claims his works:

1-30 business days.
Weekend do not count.
Please do not order if you can't wait given time.

The success of 85%.
If the operator will send a refusal, we will refund your money.
Guaranteed Unlock or Refund.
Can't be this posting, eh? http://www.ebay.ca/itm/TracFone-USA-iPh ... SwZVlXm7R2. Ridiculous. For that amount, I might as well buy the phone outright from Apple unlocked.

I recently unlocked an AT&T iPhone6 (from Walmart) with swiftunlocks. Took about 2 business days.

Looks like it is OOS! Would the one from Total Wireless be unlockable in Canada?

Total wireless is under tracfone so its the same when it comes to unlocking the phone, difficult. Its a bummer the att one is oos. Try walmart they have stock left at the amherst location (use zip code 14223) which is close to the buffalo border. You can make the purchase online and select the store for pickup. Once they send you a confirmation then you know for sure its there and then can make the trip. Hope this helps.

For anyone who has the gpplte sim bypass. The seller who I bought it from posted the below instructions for new activations. Don't know if it works for SE. Hope this helps.

For iPhone 6s/6splus/7/7Plus, following should work for new activiations. Please also reply your result including your IOS versions and both original provider and intended providers.
1, Insert the unlock SIM together with intended to use SIM card.
2, You will get activation screen, press home button and select emergency calls, and enter *5005*7672*0#. You will see an option screen (black background with list of carriers),
3, Select the carrier the iPhone is LOCKED TO (ORGINIAL CARRIER/PROVIDER), and select 6s/6sp/SE mode then ACCEPT.
4, Pop the SIM tray out of the phone and insert it back in.
Trying to decide if I should go for gpplte or R-SIM 11+.
Did you upgrade your phone to iOS 11.1.1? Is it still working?

Apple updated their server recently and r-sim 11+ stopped working. You need to wait for R-sim 12.

How much? Sigh, I should've bought an AT&T iPhone SE for my wife, not this silly Straight Talk. I'm still scared to do a reboot. :(

If it helps, I've rebooted an iPhone SE with RSIM 11 and it continues to work. I think only activations with a NEW sim card using RSIM are blocked.

Spent about $84.99 usd now its $79.99 usd. As CrazeeGhost said it's most probably new activations, but again can't be too sure.

Wondering if anyone has used an RSIM 12 v9.3 successfully on an AT&T iPhone SE and can post the instructions? Thanks
