[Best Buy] Warm- BestBuy White LG 75Hz 31.5 1080p monitor - $210$new $188$ open box

open box for 188 ...

Model 32ML600M-W specs here : https://www.lg.com/ca_en/desktop-monitors/lg-32ML600M-W

I am pleased with it, I have bad eyes and 1080p is good enough for me . I got the open box one and it was all sealed stuff untouched.

Hope some enjoy it. I thought it was worth sharing.

Costco has the black model for i think 239 in store ( 249 online= LG 32ML60TM 32 in. FHD IPS Monitor (1920 × 1080 Item 2232600 Model 32ML60TM ) ... and of course if you can find it in store, they have the higher model version in QHD for a hundred more.

2 stupid things about this model tho is the VESA position is direct in the middle and the piece which the table top mount attaches to sticks out the back below it, the only way to remove is to remove the cover and remove 2 screws... Which brings me to the other dumb thing, the cover on the back is white, but front is black. It's literally 2 separate pieces ... I actually just popped mine off and spray painted it white 🤣 that's how much it annoyed me. I was in there anyways to remove that bulging back piece and change the vesa attachment points to the bottom of the monitor to raise it higher on the arm mount, so no big deal. Quick job of 1 hour. If u aren't bothered by the two tone and jutting out back piece no worries...

Price ain't bad for size.

I just bought a asus 27" for $199 at best buy. Might return that for this.

Unless you really need that size, I've always found 1080p to not look that great on a monitor larger than 24" (depending on how close you're sitting to it). Also seen a lot of people comment about their regrets getting even a 27" 1080p monitor.

What does this monitor really offer in comparison to something like the Dell S2421HN from their BF sneak peak for $160?

IMO if you don't need a monitor now I would just wait until BF at this point. If you do need a monitor and you want something this size, then this definitely isn't a horrible deal by any means.

I got this monitor earlier in the week at $199 (open box). It had 0 hours of usage time on it and was in-new condition (YMMV).

I'm a bit older so need the larger fonts (lower resolution) for my eyes.

Some programs (rdp) don't display properly with display scaling alone.

I need it for WFM purposes and I find a 27" fits my needs as I toggle between split screen between two apps all the time.

My desk isn't big enough for 2 full monitors.

But I'm hesitant now given its a white base. My desks set up is dark colored or black and to bring a white monitor to the set up would be like an albino horse in a group of majestic dark ponies. It'll stand out and be so weird to look at 8+ hours a day.

Hmmmm....

Lucky for you the stand is metallic silverish

I've read that LG reliability is an issue these days. You might want to consider another brand that has a longer warranty — piece of mind.

funny you mention that, on the inside of the back of the panel it showed some Skyworth labeling... also the back panel cover had indicators that it was made for 4 ( maybe 5 ) other companies including LGC

How do you determine how many hours it was used?

Lucky you. I bought an open box monitor from Mike's and it has been used for more than 160 hours lol (but I saved about 40% so can't complain)
