Interesting. I bought it from the last sale but haven't opened it yet, sand the permission issue never came up. When I click on your Google Play link I see a slightly different permission list than what you listed -- but it's still fairly extensive.
I've never used a 360 camera before. Can the file type be edited with any other generic photo editing software to avoid the manufacturer software? Anyone who purchased it from the last go round have experience with it? You have to use their software to do anything with the camera?
After seeing video quality in this video I doubt i am going to unbox it. I have samsung gear 360 1st gen which have better 360 picture. But gear don't do 360 live on fb etc, and seems like this don't have that either, only sharing option after recording.
LOL. I kept turning the sample video round and round but can't find the person filming. I thought to myself - that can't be possible. Then when I pan down, I saw him holding the camera way above his head. HAHAHA.

I have a DJI Osmo mobile 2 that I hadn't used in a couple years. I unpacked it to install the DJI app and saw the same crap. Why the hell does it need access to my contacts?
Pretty nice for the price, if you ask me! Just to 100% confirm: uses USB-C interface, right? All of my phones are old and use micro-USB. Wonder if an adapter would work?

BTW guys I've used it with the osmo mobile 3 and it's perfect. I just don't want to upload footage where you can see my big face and there is no way to edit or cut the video in the apps
