Seems ok since a lot of home workout stuff is sold out atm. $100 one looks nicer than $200 one.

Thanks OP!
What’s the weight capacity on these?
Gym equipment hunting during covid has revealed to me that many benches have a 300lb capacity that includes user-weight (leaving 100+ lbs of weight to move).

Thanks OP. Grabbed the Fitness Reality bench. Not that I need it, but it says 800lb capacity.

Just an FYI- the Amazon link you posted for the Bowflex is their 5.1 and not the 3.1

I bought it from BestBuy last week, just arrived today and assembled in 30 mins, seems quite sturdy to me, i'm only going to use up to 45 lb dumbells anyways. Note you need two adjustable wrenches to tighten the bolts!
Now i'm too tired to work out.....Image

The fitness 1000 was ~135 last month on backorder (amazon.ca). I got an email Sat that said it was expected to arrive this Thurs, but no shipping notice yet. If they start shipping these at $199 before ours, that would be annoying.

They have the 2019 updated model of the fitness 1000 for $145

The pics are the same between the 2.. so.. dunno. But I'd totally grab the updated for $55 cheaper for what is prob the same thing.

*Edit* not sold by amazon, so buyer beware; lots of sellers for it not the best ratings tho.

Just picked up the Canadian tire bowflex 3.1 today from a local Canadian tire for $199. Good quality and seems sturdy after putting it together. I debated between the Bowflex and the CAP FID bench but glad I went with bowflex. CAP didn’t seem nearly as sturdy when I saw in store.

A warning but I feel like the bowflex benches are made for giants. I'm 6'0 and have the bowflex 5.1 and feel that it is way too long.

Does seem a little long as I’m 5’9 but I’d rather it than to short and hanging off the edge myself

Yeah im 5'8" and hanging off the edge of the Weider one, and the seat doesn't lay flat as well which can be a hinderance

Bowflex 3.1s is Available for preorder at Canadiantire. I can only see from Toronto to Oshawa it says available for pickup in 7-13 days- price is $225 with tax included.

For anyone else looking there is a company called Northern Fitness as well doing preorders for the Bowflex 3.1s bench which is about $280 with tax included and they also have the Bowflex 5.1s for preorder as well for $399.99 not sure how much it is with tax.

I ordered the 3.1s just now from Canadian Tire hopefully it will be there within the next two weeks.

There are still two available bowflex 3.1s at the Canadian tire in high river, Alberta for $199. Short drive from Calgary if anyone is looking.

I don't understand how major retailers can still be selling the Bowflex benches when they're no longer listed on Bowflex's own website, and are reported to be no longer supported by Bowflex.

It happens all the time with different products. It's either old stock or a specific store model.
