Thanks! Their prices seem reasonable and they have lots of selection. Just curious which bench did you get and what do you think of it so far?mtlboy wrote: ↑ Fitness Reality bench went for $132.50 for a couple of days or so in mid July. It's not a $249 -$299 bench. Gearforfit is OOS but on their website they have a bench they sell for cheaper than on Amazon. I ordered at 3pm and got it next day for them, but check their website for stock.

I got this one: https://www.gearforfit.com/p55-foldable ... at-fb17.02
Sells on amazon as: https://www.amazon.ca/Foldable-Adjustab ... rts&sr=1-2
It's an entry level bench and will satisfy 75% of the people. It's really not bad, but for the price it's worth it. The seat is slightly wide but not so uncomfortable and it folds up. If you are benching 2+ plates I would say get a better one, but it's a good 7.5/10. If you want to get a 'good bench', you are looking at $300 range, so keep that in mind,.

Can the rollers be adjusted to anchor your feet for incline crunches?mtlboy wrote: ↑ I got this one: https://www.gearforfit.com/p55-foldable ... at-fb17.02

This one seems to be back in stock at GearforFits Website. 20.00 cheaper than Amazon also and they have curbside pickup if you want and or in the GTA. The only thing that worries me is that i am 5"11 and just reading the reviews lots of people saying decline pressing is an issue with this bench. I really just need it to use with my bowflex 552s that i have. so the weight capacity seems ok. How do you find the decline pressing situation?mtlboy wrote: ↑ I got this one: https://www.gearforfit.com/p55-foldable ... at-fb17.02

That's funny. I asked Go For Fit and they said yesmtlboy wrote: I only see one opening, but not sure how else I would move it, so I would say no
It's not bad, I don't find it moves with the weights I use. I use 552s also. If you are doing heavy weights, I would suggest a higher end bench.

Darn would've picked up the $99 one but it's gone. Only need something temporary, any recommendations for that price range? Incline is preferred, rarely do flat db bench at the gym, always had a slight to medium incline

How much will you be lifting? This only supports up to 300lbs.peakingduck wrote: ↑ Anyone own this? what do you guys think, considering the price? ($93 but temporily OOS)

Will probably just be lifting for maintenance and won't go heavy, maybe 60lb dumbbells tops?
According to the site it supports 400lb (300 + 100?):

How about this one... bit more expensive tho but it looks to be more durable... maybe....

I have the fitness reality 2000. Very sturdy bench with several seat and back angles. Adjustable seat gap.boyohboy wrote: ↑ How about this one... bit more expensive tho but it looks to be more durable... maybe....

Heavier but has wheels on the head side.
Re:durability, the cover (pleather?) feels a bit thinner, but I suppose can be easily replaced if needed.

ohhh didn't even see the wheels in any of the pics and video previously. Looked back at video again, guess the small recessed wheels there. That's nice.Hangryhippo wrote: ↑ I have the fitness reality 2000. Very sturdy bench with several seat and back angles. Adjustable seat gap.

How think is the padding on the seat and back?
More expensive but perhaps better than Bowflex 3.1 if both have wheels..

The seat and back are about 2 inches thick (the bottom 1/2 inch is plywood) - So 1.5 inch padding.
My choices were either this or the Fit505 Ultra bench for adjustability and stability.
Also, the seat height on the bowflex 3.1 is about 1.5 inch taller (may be important depending on user height / leg position when lifting)

The Fitness Reality 2000 looks like a pretty impressive unit. It is making me rethink my quest for a Bowflex 5.1s
