Best CC for Air Canada perks

The TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite Privilege gives you priority check-in, priority boarding and free first checked bag on all flights on AC metal, award or paid.

I believe the CIBC Aerogold Visa Infinite Privilege has the same benefits, but I'm not 100% sure.

Correct. These are the ONLY two cards that get you priority boarding with Air Canada. None of the AMEX cards do.

$399 annual fee...

I was reading the websites for both day you get it you use Aeroplan rewards to book.

Can anyone confirm that you get these perks even if you don’t use points?

I don’t see about priority boarding - just the free bags and check in

Priority boarding is worth it to some of us.

Not trying to be argumentative, but genuinely interested to hear why some folks find priority boarding worthwhile? No matter how quickly you get on the plane, you still have to wait for everybody. Sure, you're more likely to get a shelf space right above you, but is that really worth that much? So what if you have to put your luggage further away from you...

I find it useless while Inhave small children since they let you Priority board anyways for free lol.

I agree though I find priority check in and free bags and easier business upgrades to be the true perks.

When you do >80 flights yearly, you'll understand. Yes, bin space is the most important reason one priority boards.

If you fly more than 80 flights yearly, shouldn't you already be qualifying for at least Altitude Elite 35?

The question posed was why priority boarding is something I value. Please re-read the thread. If I didn't have elite status with AC, I'd be in J, and in the odd chance I'm in Y, I'd grab the Infinite Priv. card as again, I value priority boarding, especially on narrowbody aircraft, and definitely inclusive of the worst narrowbody aircraft to fly Y on with bags, which are the Embraers (or the Q400 next gens which don't have skycheck)
