I have a Hoover Lynx. Removable battery, seems to work well even after 5 years. I paid a fortune but saw them recently at Depot for $160. Had a beater bar. Definitely worth it at that price.

We have a good Miele canister as our main vac but I bought a Black and Decker Smart Pet 2 in 1 for just under $200 at Walmart. It's over $200 on Amazon. Has the removable dustbuster and that dustbuster also has a removable power brushroller, so does the main vac. It works quite well and holds a charge for about 30 minutes depending if you use the brushrollers or not. The dog hair doesn't seem to get wrapped around the brushrolls either which is good. https://www.amazon.ca/BLACK-DECKER-HSVJ ... B06XHGZ594

I mean.... this technically meets the requirements for a "cordless vac"

If it were me I'd get mine. Unless you like crawling around tracking crumbs.

Debating between a Dyson or Shark cordless.

The Shark has removable chargeable batteries and from my understanding the Dyson batteries are not removable so if the battery ever dies the unit is garbage...correct??

Any other options for cordless to consider??

Dyson batteries are replaceable. Many instructions online. My V8 is godsend for an OCD like myself. It’s ready anytime I need it and I use it everyday many times a day. Even after 2 years, it still works like new. It’s really worth it and improved my quality of life.
