This has never failed on me in the last 10 years and it always comes off clean when I need to take it off.secretalcoholic wrote: ↑ I use 3M auto molding tape.

Are you using it correctly? It takes time for the tape's bond to cure to the surface. Something like 3M's VHB has specifications for proper usage:jackrabbit000 wrote: ↑ Anyone know of a good double sided tape for mounting a dashcam on a windshield? I tried the 15lb clear and 30lb black Gorilla double sided mounting tape and both of these are 100% garbage products. Falls off in less than 5 minutes.
