Best Espresso Machine Under $300?

Hi all, we're planning on treating ourselves with an entry-level espresso machine..but there are so many options!!Face With Tears Of Joy Ideally, we're looking for one that can make both lattes and drip coffee, and found a model at Costco but it has so many bad reviews. We're not interested in Nespresso as the pods thing is very limiting..I like being able to try different beans :)

For a low budget, look to used market like Kijiji. Probably a Breville as there's more choice/availability. If you do your homework with some lesser name brands, you can sometimes get really good machine for little $.
We're all bozos on the bus until we find a way to express ourselves...

Failure is always an option...just not the preferred one!

We have a commercial vintage machine at home but at one time we also had a Starbucks Barista espresso maker. It was surprising how good the Starbucks Barista coffee tasted given that it was a $100 dollar range espresso machine. The coffee wasn't as good as our vintage machine BUT I would say it was very, very good. Something to consider if you can get your hands on one.
