Best grave monument supplier in the GTA?

Looking to compare 3rd party grave stone prices for a family member vs buying from the cemetery themselves. Is it worth the extra hoop jumping the cemetery will put you through? They are particularly interested in natural boulder style monuments. Anyone have any experience in this depressing field of shopping?

First thing you got to do is check with the Bylaws / REQUIREMENTS of the Cemetery
Most have very extensive rules about what is & isn’t allowed
Including monuments ...
Type, Size, Shape, Colour, Engravings, Footings, Time Allowance after Burial etc
It can be quite daunting

Some places even only let you source thru a particular Monument Provider / Engraver

Additionally cemeteries May have rules about plantings (flowers, shrubs, trees etc )

Another thing is warranties in particular if there are any fees associated with repositioning/maintenance of the monument once in place - ie what happens if the ground settles on one side of the monument which causes the monument to be lopsided? OR let's say the plaque needed to be replaced but was covered under the 3rd party's warranty... who pays for the removal of the plaque and will the work be allowed on-site or will the whole monument need to be removed, repaired, and then reposition? Who pays?

One of the reasons why we ended up buying from the cemetery at their much higher cost is knowing that everything was included and all we had to do was to go to the cemetery's office and ask them to do the work.
