Best Shawarma/Falaffel (Halal as well) in the GTA by far!

Address: 2104 Hwy 7 w unit # 2, Concord, ON L4K 2S9

4.8* on Google Reviews (900+ reviews) in case you don't want to take my word for it.

If anybody is ever in the mood for a phenomenal Shawarma or Falaffel, and are anywhere in the GTA, you definitely need to check this place out (highway 7 and Keele - right beside the National Sports). Their hours suck since they are in a business area (so not open evenings or weekends), but you will not find better value for your money.

$13 all in ($11.50 + tax) for a shawarma or falaffel wrap. Thats pretty much all they sell. You can also buy it without the wrap (i.e. salad in a container with meat/falaffel), and fries, but that's about it.

They are a small family owned/operated hole in the wall but they don't take any shortcuts. They must put 20oz of chicken in the wrap at least and the flavour will blow you away. Definitely have it with the pickled mango sauce. Check out google reviews too.

$13 will get you two at many places in the gta south of steeles.
I have had quite a few bad ones that people continue to patronize mostly because it's cheap.
One of the better ones I've tried the wife whispers in the husband's ear what the price should be if you ask for extra toppings.
So the price is never the one they have on the sign board but varies every visit.
Falafel is cheap plant based chickpeas and should never be greater than $5.
Meat I could understand is more expensive.

What do you pay for a Burrito at Mucho Burrito, Chipotle, or Burrito Boys? Or for a footlong sub? And all they put 4 ounces of meat and tons of rice and bread.

Would you rather 2 shitty ones for $13, or an incredible one for $13 (which you can easily cut in half, eat one for lunch and one for dinner b/c its that big).

I guarantee if you try this place out, you will come back here and post how incredible it is. I suggest this place to everybody and nobody has ever been disappointed and will ask me all the time to go back. Check out the google reviews.

We get a lot of people shilling crappy businesses that actually belong to them or their family.
So if you are telling the truth, the bad people do spoil it for others.. especially if they arent frequent posters on this forum.

lol, check out my other reviews/posts. Everytime I post something recommending a business, I get accused of owning that business. If i owned all the businesses I've been accused of supporting/recommending on RFD, A) I'd be rich, and B) I sure as hell wouldn't have time to post about on RFD!!.

People were a bit harsh.
I checked the reviews and it does look legit. Even did a corporate name search... business has been around for a while, indicative of acceptable business practices if they can stay alive that long.

$13 is indeed expensive for a shawarma...
Some reviews mention big portions. The stuff there has to have a big portion to justify the $13 price.

In Ottawa Shawarma Palace has a platter for $16. Easily feeds 2 hungry people.

$13 wrap is over priced and not by a little regardless of updates.

Agreed that's way too much for a wrap.

For that kind of money, you get a "Plate" and a pop [Shawarma Empire is my preference for Shawarma]

Edit: I don't retract the "too much for a wrap" comment => they're not helping themselves making the wrap that big to justify the price because ppl just can't eat that much in one sitting IMO. You're going to throw money in the garbage if you can't eat it all.
It's like going to a hamburger joint and saying this is the greatest hamburger, it's gotta be twice as big as everyone else and then charge you twice as much.

I work near this place and it’s legit. Pretty popular with the work lunch crowd and doesn’t really need a shill thread to try and drum up business. Portions are some of the biggest I’ve had at a shawarma place which I guess explains the prices.

Worthy of it’s own thread? I don’t know about that but it’s pretty good.

It's good but not mind blowing good. It's good for something in the neighbourhood but I hated lining up for it unless I go early to beat the lunch crowd.

Shawarma/falaffel is comfort food but also so international you can find something in any city in the world.

The other challenge I find is some places are just not consistent. One day it's the greatest wrap, the next visit it's dry like sandpaper.
