best way to add 100-150 horses to 2013 Accord Touring V6

Looking to add at least 100-150 horsepower to my 2013 Accord Touring V6 (34K mileage) and must be quiet (no fart cans) and reliable,as I drive the car occasionally in winter, plus my wife drives the car occasionally,so she must not be able to notice any difference in power. What is recommended and are there any good Honda performance tuners in the Niagara area?(Canada).Thanks.

What you want doesn't exist outside of buying another vehicle and hiding it from your wife.

Good luck, you're gonna need it.

I was looking to buy an older 2006-2013 BMW 335i (N54,N55) coupe, but that seems like it would be a money pit, changing out all the known potential problems so I thought maybe I do something to my Honda instead. Thanks

Jet engine won't work. OP said he wants quiet upgrade/mod.

OP, you do realize with increased HP, you'd have to upgrade other components, i.e. brakes (to stop all this extra power efficiently)

It will cost you more to build that Accord than maintenance and adding power to a N54/N55

+1

100-150 hp is big dollars to sink in.
You can either turbocharge or supercharge, which will be about $5000-8000, and all that goes with it.
Isn't the V6 with CVT? No idea how much power the CVT can handle so throw in another $3000-5000 for a tranny swap.

All that power you'll need stopping power too, suspension, brakes, bushings another $4000.

How are you going to hide all those performance mods AND the money missing from spending $10-15k?

LOL at this thread.

If only it were that simple to add 150 HP to a N/A Honda.

But to a FWD Accord? It already makes 278 HP.

Good luck getting 428 HP to the ground on that

You need to drop your original post down to 5-15. Which is doable. For a number like 50+ you will need either NOS, Turbo or Supercharger, which I'm sure will be a custom job and you'll run into lots of issues and big bucks. Throw reliability out the window and like someone said, you might have issues with your tranny. A new car is the best option.

Nitrous is the only way to go for short burst of increased power to a NA engine.

To add 50-75 horsepower to the Honda V6 engine your only real choice is to either supercharge or turbocharge it. I don’t think I have seen any bolt ons that will get you those gains otherwise.

It would be much simpler if the car was already turbo charged. That way you can just flash the car and put it in stock mode when your wife drives.
