Best & Worst Bowls (Burrito Boyz, Chipotle, Scotty Bons, etc.)

I got a coupon from Burrito Boys for my birthday. Not really fan, my boy bought me a Burrito a long time ago. I thought it was dry, very bland. IMO the worst.

Anyways, I tried their Chicken Bowl. Same shit, different location.

I got sick of wraps, so switched to bowls.

The best IMO is SCOTTY BONS. Whether it's Jerk, BBQ, Oxtail they all taste amazing. Love their entire menu, even their rotti and sandwiches. It's so good, I rarely go to Osmow's.

I haven't heard of most of your list, but for me it's Chipotle or bust.

Mucho Burrito is awful (not surprising since they're owned by MTY). Seriously who thought montreal steak spice is tex mex?
Free guac doesn't even make up for the disaster.

Ox tail sounds good though but not surprising that it's center of the universe.

Too bad they don't have a downtown location. I would have tried it today.

The Jamaican fare looks good.
Pretty innovative compared to traditional.
If the bowls look anything like in the pics, the prices are decent.
I liked burrito style bowls more than the wraps.
Only got it from certain locations which gave free guac.
Chipotle is good but paying extra for guac ain't nice.

Never heard of Scotty Bons but I put it on my list (actually it was already on my list and I still haven't tried it) if I'm in the area and in need of some food. IMO these types of independents places (all different types of ethnic cuisines usually) are the way to go.

My Google Maps has way too many "pins" of these types of local places.

Burrito Boyz and Chipotle are 2 great examples of chains that can have WILDLY different quality depending on location.

I never heard of Scotty Bons until my boy was told about at work. Now it's our go to joint.

Where I live now, the options are slim but I really enjoy our local Fat Bastard Burrito's. When I worked downtown I would visit once a week. The naked bowl varies in size, up here its filling but downtown was skimpy.

Personally like both BarBurrito and Quesada for bowls. The Quesada paprika mayo is delicious IMO.

All this Scotty Bons talk makes me want to check them out.

mucho burrito is the worst. their rice is just plain rice no cilantro no nothing very bland which isn't good when rice makes up a good portion of a burrito. also the music playing in there is terrible usually cuban salsa music has nothing to do with mexico lol.

Never heard of Scotty Bons until this thread. Tried it and it was probably the worse "jamaican" I've ever had. I went for their "famous" jerk chicken.
The meat was super dry. How can dark meat be dry?? Because it was made the previous day and reheated again. It also had no jerk flavour yet it
was burnt to a crisp and salty. Pineapple and corn topping?? Never seen that at any jamaican place. I've had better at my local mall (Tropical Joes).
