Bestbuy fido black friday contract

Bestbuy fido black friday contract

Anyone else get screwed over by bestbuy/fido on their black friday deals on their phones + plans?

I went to get the pixel 7 for $9.50 + $ 40 plan for 25gb as well as the $250 gift card. I was told the total would come out to $49.50 before tax by the rep and figured it was a good deal. When reviewing the changes to my fido account I noticed that the monthly device cost were $39 and not $9.50 and there wasn't any showing of discounts anywhere on my account.

I've gone back and forth with Fido/Bestbuy at this point and they're just blaming each other, I had bestbuy print out the actual contract with what's supposed to be a $29.50 discount applied on the device monthly but it doesn't show up anywhere on my Fido account and any Fido rep is lost on what to do.

Figure i'll just return the phone and cancel the plan at this point, sucks that I might be too late to get the Iphone13 deal though.

Did you escalate this issue through the Live Chat team?

If they can't help, I would return everything as "buyers remorse" or contact CCTS

Thanks! gave this chat a try and they ended up getting it resolved fairly quick. Much faster than being given the run around on call and at store.
