The review is not that good on the $399 one comparing to the $379 one.toysareforboys wrote: ↑$379 you mean?
Yeah, that one sucks. Slow CPU, slow ram, only USB 2.0, crappy graphics card, terrible battery, etc.

only two stars on futureshop review.(are those reviews trusted?)
Jan 1st, 2013 3:38 am
There are no real reviews there, people just clicked the stars. If they actually wrote something about the laptop, I'd consider if they were legit or not, but if they didn't even take the time to type out what they didn't like about it, I don't give it much weightKENKINMING wrote: ↑only two stars on futureshop review.(are those reviews trusted?)

Its a nice laptop but I went with this one :toysareforboys wrote: ↑I just bought this refurb Lenovo: http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/ ... 0858d4en02
i5 3210, 6gb DDR3 1600, 750gb, Intel 4000, USB 3.0, monster 4400mah battery, etc. Sweet deal. I just hope it comes with USA keyboard. The specs say it does, but I don't believe them
It's a factory refurb so it's done by Lenovo.

Looks nice The i5 3210M absolutely murders the A8-4500M on every benchmark I've seen, but the Radeon 7640G is a bit faster than the Intel 4000immortal_kssss wrote: ↑Its a nice laptop but I went with this one :

The silver colour looks nice,A8 processor 8 GB ram with a video card-like can handle simple games.
I'm gonna return the A6 HP ($379) and the A10 HP ($479),both looks nice but the Toshiba is a better deal.

Best Buy price is $239, FS price is $269, both say "save $80". How does that work?jayfbee wrote: ↑Best price I've seen for the Canon 430EX II flash http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/can ... fbcdeden02

What's not to understand? Just like their differing sale prices, they have different regular prices.Frank311 wrote: ↑Best Buy price is $239, FS price is $269, both say "save $80". How does that work?

No doubt the graphics performance of that $479 unit would be better, as the add-on 7670M is more powerful than the Intel 4000. The dual GPU setup works so that when you're just puttering around on the system, it uses the low power (and lower performance than the Intel 4000) 7460G graphics GPU, but when you fire up a game, it switches over to the better 7670M. They do this because of battery life, heat and noise. I had a laptop with a similar setup, worked great.legacyofprotovirus wrote: ↑Any thoughts on the performance of this guy? Interesting dual graphics combination that I haven't seen come pre built before.
