Snobs may argue Peninsula Hotel ones are better... You know those people that say the more expensive it is the better quality it must be

Garden brand is also pretty good at $15. Those who buy the moon cakes with fake ingredients don't know what they missing.
Koodo $40/6GB
Public Mobile $40/15GB, lot less with rewards

Are you sure? Do you mean like Jan? The ones I've seen expire in Nov and other brands expire in Oct. If some mooncakes expire a year later maybe people shouldn't be eating them.

I don't know people who've said this, but would be interested in some examples of where this was said. I don't recall this being said in the various mooncake threads on RFD I read recently for example.

I personally like Maxim’s more than Wing Wah.

It's a general Asian saying (not on RFD), similar to "money can't buy taste (or style) " in Western sayings

$25 for a box of Wingwah moon cake is actually not a bad deal. It usually costs $40+.

However, I do not like having any yolks in the moon cake. It's a shame that double yolk is the norm.
