I can't seem to find some of the great deals people claim to always get? I still see every hotel for $100+?

One example I found. The Burrard is 109 per night. You get a $75 gift card as well as a $50 gift card for each additional night. 34$ for the first night and $59 for each other night is pretty good for a place in downtown YVR

I've done this deal before (in 2016) - worked fine and when I checked in the front desk agent had the gift cards and asked if I wanted to take them or just have them applied directly to the bill. I had them applied to the bill.

Be careful when you're booking. I'm noticing that the prices they list aren't reflected in the final price being offered. Ramada Downtown on Granville strip had listed "From: $82" with a $75 GC. I clicked on it and the prices for the rooms jumped up to $105. Talk about scammy
