Good price for 10th Gen Intel CPUs!

Please keep AMD hate/bandwagoners out of this thread.

That being said, I've been in the market for a new CPU to upgrade from my G4560, and there's a few options at the moment including the Ryzen 3600 for $250, 10600KF for $260, and 10400F for $180. I believe this deal for the 10600K as a midrange performance CPU with overclocking capabilities is the best of the bunch if you're looking for a bit more processing power over the 10400F.

They are clearing stock because the 11th gen are coming March 30 (debatable if it's a paper launch or not) which are suppose to trump the 5000 series ryzen and be a 20% IPC jump over the 10th gen intel.

Early leaks indicate 11th gen being expensive, also not sure how far they can take 14nm with the tdp limits they have in place, I'm guessing power consumption is going to be through the roof with the boosted clocks that have been leaked. I guess we will see.

I bought a 5800X for $450 USD ($675 CAD 15% HST).

I wonder if the 10900K will drop below $400 USD....

I wanted the 10900K for the extra cores and the more fun overclocking.

You can either handle them yourself or pay them when checkout out.

If you missed the 327usd deal on the 10850k that I posted 2 weeks ago, at this point I think we should wait for Rocket lake. There are a few improvements plus brand new architecture.

The 10850 was a much better deal imho

400$ is too much for the 10900K, considering quite a few people have reported their 10850K reaching higher clocks than the 10900Ks

Only problem with both processors, is you're going to spend Atleast 250 - 300$ for a budget mobo.

The 10C/20T draws alot of power.
