Wait is this a bidet seat or proper bidet? Hard to tell from the pics...
I want a proper bidet, have a rough in ready since i moved in the house 10 years ago but can never seem to come across a deal for a standalone unit.

I'm getting very fond of bidets. It's one French adaptation that I think... should go global.

Do you wipe your hands with toilet paper when you get a little brown frown on your wrist?

We're behind the 8-ball here, folks.

Does this one play music?

I heard there was one that shoots out water at intervals that match songs.

This is a very good price for a Brondell bidet seat, I was waiting for the C1000 or C1400 to be back in stock and hopefully on sale, their regular prices are around $700, just may pull the trigger on this one.
Currently happy customer with Koodo and Virgin Mobile.

How does this compare to the highly rated CS1400?

I do not own that model but I really like mine, its fully loaded with only one con that i dont like is the hot water has a limited amount, i belive the higher model has constant hot water rather only half litre tank like this one, but i do find it is more than enough to finish the job..

In Japan, women find any sounds associated with the toilet to be un-lady-like so they seek to disguise them with music.

From Brondell:

If looking over the comparison chart on the website, the CL950 is comparable to the DS725.
https://www.brondell.com/bidets/bidet-seat-comparisons/

The units will offer some of the same features. However, the Swash 1400 is our top model.

The MAIN difference is how they operate.

The CL950/DE725/SE400/SE600 are all tank models. Meaning they have a water reservoir that stores water. When you activate a wash cycle, that reservoir will heat the water and begin to spray. The water will be warmer in the beginning and then temper down to cold as the wash continues. Depending on how cold your water is, you will get anywhere from 25 to 40 seconds of warm water.

The Swash 1400, 1200, and 1000 models feature a ceramic heater versus a reservoir. When a wash is activated, water comes into the unit, is heated, and sprays you. The unit will do this continually for the duration of the 2-minute wash cycle.

I think that I'll be waiting for a deal on the 1400. Can't have my wife run out of hot water during the rinse cycle! :)

Excellent price for this model and it comes with all the features you need. Practically the same features as SE600, just without the water reservoir. I bought mine SE600 on sale it was a bit over $400. Too bad this deal is only in Toronto though, I'd pick up another one for my house.
