Just looking for another update on this...is August still official?
Or did Covid 19 slow down the opening date? (Article was written back in January. Covid 19 hit in March)

We still have an old biway bag with a bunch of empty coin rollers in it Face With Tears Of Joy one of those things you keep around but rarely need

... I wonder if it's only Toronto area opening one? Hmm

Two things to note:

1) BiWay is now set to open in November 2020. Source: https://www.retail-insider.com/retail-i ... ember-2020

Sadly,

2) The BiWay founder (Mal Coven) has passed away at the age of 91...he didn't get to live long enough to see the store open! That's too bad. https://www.blogto.com/city/2020/10/biw ... nto-store/

That sucks :( hopefully the people running the store after him are able to make it a success. I would love another competitor to the likes of Giant Tiger, Dollarama, and to the lesser extent Walmart.

Seems like an odd time to get a new retail business off the ground.

(Okay, BiWay isn't necessarily new but it hasn't existed as a brand since the 90's.)
