Firestone Firehawk INDY 500. Performance wise they are not far off from Michelin Pilot Sports but much more affordable. Currently running the INDY 500 on my wife's car the tires have really good feedback, very sticky especially around corners and minimal sidewall flex also excellent in the rain going to pick up a set in March for my car. Second choice for affordability and performance would be the BF Goodrich g force Comp 2.

Now isn't a good time to buy summer tires best time is in March/April as manufacturer rebates all hit at that time.

For those looking for winter tires ... I ended up picked up a set of Kumho WS71 from quattro tires. With $60 instant rebate and $80 online rebate, it is a really good deal for a set of 235/55R19 for $680 after tax after rebates.

I compared various stores (online and physical) and that seems to be the cheapest for my size. I also looked at the bridgestone sale at Costco but it is still too much for a set of 19" ... I'll be close to $1000 after tax. People seem to have good experience with Quattro with online purchase, and I also heard good reviews of the Kumho WS71 so gonna give that a try.

Been looking at this and the CT thread for a while, was debating between 17" XI3, WS90, or Viking 7 for my 2020 Accord. Checked quattro today (pneusarabais) and saw Viking7 drop to 160$, lower than blackcircles, and opposed to 141$ for the XI3 on Canadian Tire. Went ahead and grabbed Vikings with wheels, 950$ all included, with 80$ rebate. CT is better if u need just tires. But the wheel rebate makes it similar price, and saves me from mounting/balancing in November.

I have found the indy 500 ok, I had s drives on before. A bit more traction than those when they were new. Car won't dead hook and rain performance is calm driving only. This is on a 98 camaro z28. No traction control. I should have gone with a stickier tire. They need to be really warm before giving it.

Purchased some Blizzaks P245/65R17 for my Honda Pilot from Costco, $772 all in. If I switch to 18 inch continental tires at blackcircles.ca P245/60R18 it works out to $771 all in, or $720 for the same 17 inch size plus install of course so about $50-$100 more depending on size.

Not sure if the continental tires are better than the bridgestone blizzaks. Opinions?

the vikings are at the top of winter tires for snow and slush and overall winter... nokians trail behind and other makes would be around that or below.

It all depends on the car and what kind of driving you do where you wont notice much of a difference between most tires.

Debating whether to cancel my Costco Blizzak DM-V2's ($800+hst) and ordering the newer Continental Viking 7's from Quattro ($770+hst) for my Audi Q5. The DM-V2's have good reviews but are older tires vs the Continentals which were just released.

I guess the other consideration is the Blizzaks are rated at an S speed rating where my factory tires are rated at H. The Blizzaks technically exceed the load rating but will costco install tires that are below the factory speed rating?

I would. I'm moving from Dm-v2s I've had for six years to Continental.

Looks like there are limited options for a 2020 Traverse LT AWD. Any recommendations? I know nothing about tires.

Also looking for Winters (Tires + rims) for my Q5. Interested to see what you settle with. Do you have a set of rims already?
