Has anyone ever heard of/tried Route 11 Mama Zuma's Revenge Habanero Potato Chips?

I just came across them on Amazon and was curious to know how they stacked up to Blair's/Aubrey D's in terms of heat and flavour.

They are like $22 for 6 small bags (one reviewer claims 2oz bags, not 6oz like product title), which is over priced in my opinion. Although if they are actually 6 oz, I guess it's not too bad really when you compare it to aubrey D. Might keep an eye out in case the price ever drops.

They've been completely off the shelf for at least 2 years now.
Bulk Barn replaced them with Rebel chips in the same shelf space. I have no idea why, but at least something is there for those who want these chips.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

You're stuck with this brand.
Bulk Barn seems to be the only place carrying them now...

It's even more spicy than Blair's Death Rain.
I had the Paqui's one a few years ago and it wasn't at the level of flaming hot, let alone Blairs or Rebel.

I wonder if they changed the recipe?

I had it a few years ago when they first came out. It was definitely hotter than Blairs. Flaming hot isn't spicy to me.

They may have changed the recipe since.

I have never had rebels yet unfortunately.
