Bluboo Maya Max 4G LTE 6.0 Inch Phablet MTK6750 OctaCore 3GB RAM 32GB ROM USB Type-C $159.99USD $200ish CAD

So I bought this phone b/c my existing phone that I recently bought had issues.

My full review will come soon but I can tell you that this is one of the better made in China phones I've tested in awhile
1)4000 mAh Battery lasts an entire day on medium - heavy use without needing to charge again
2)The 720p 6 Inch screen is very sharp and clear (see my unboxing below)
3)4G (60mbps down and 30mbps up) & 3G Reception here in GTA is extremely consistant, WIFI reception is very strong as well, it can pickup signal from routers that I otherwise would be unable to receive from
4)It comes with a super thick and sturdy TPU case and two screen protectors (1 already installed)

Works out to about $200 Canadian & for the reasons above I would highly recommend this phone.

$159.99 USD or $200various Chinese websites

Just wondering how you are liking this phone now after having it for a couple weeks?. I'm considering going back to a 720p phone because of the amazing battery life I used to have with my Galaxy Note 2. My LG G3 is constantly running out of battery and I'm finding myself always at 5% when I need it most, maybe I just need a powerbank:)

Still loving and using the phone.

Also found a solution to one of the issues which is the lack of LED notifications. You can use Light Manager (Pro) to control the LED, but only green is available.

Good enough until they officially release an OTA, but no guarantee they'll address this.

I ended up helping my friends buy a total of two more. It's was on flash sale recently. Check my hot deal post

Based on the link, there is no band 4 LTE. So, LTE coverage must be rather spotty.

Which carrier? I am with Public Mobile and I find myself being connected to band 4 LTE practically all the time. My phone doesn't have band 7.

I am not sure Telus (Bell) has the same band 7 coverage. Personally, I would go for something that has band 4 LTE.

This phone will have a hard time on Bell/Telus and their sub brands as it only has 850Mhz WCDMA and 2600Mhz LTE;

If you're in the GTA, you won't be able to use voice or text on it as most towers don't have 850Mhz WCDMA in the GTA. It's pretty much 1900Mhz.

LTE data will only work outside on 2600Mhz.
