Bluetooth headset and Unified Communications; is it hype??

I'm looking out for the best bluetooth headset for the office and rounded it down to the Plantronics Voyager 5200. I noticed it also comes in a UC flavor which is +$50 more. I do a lot of VOIP with Avaya and don't know what the benefit is of going to the 5200 UC vs Non in terms of functionality.

Outside of the additional accessories, what does UC version really offer that the non UC doesn't?

Is the BT dongle what makes this "UC"??

Honestly, what's the quality/functionality difference between a a non-UC headphone vs a UC one of ANY brand/model?
