BMO investorline now offering commission free ETFs

In addition to commission free Mutual Funds, you can now buy and sell ETFs free of charge.

Here’s how to qualify for commission-free trading on over 80 ETFs with InvestorLine:
• Trade online any of the eligible ETFs listed
• Hold the eligible ETF for a minimum of one business day from the date of purchase
• Do not buy and sell, or sell and buy, the same ETF on the same day. Also not applicable for short sell trades

The usual suspects (Vanguard, iShares, BMO ETFs) are in the list.

Nice to see a big bank discount brokerage doing this. Hopefully the others will follow.

Agreed. BMO ETF's should have ALWAYS been free to buy...seeing as they nail you with crazy MER's anyways.
