Why would they limit it to first 100 people? Most people won't even bother because there's a good chance the promo will be done by the evening.

It sounds like a good deal, but I just looked at their menu and the cheapest price for Bossam is $34 and cheapest price for Jokbal is $32, which seems kind of high to begin with. I guess just keep that in mind when you choose to order.

Edit: Sorry I missed this when I first posted, they also have medium dish options for 2 of their items, not sure if they are 50% off too. The medium Bobooya Bossam is $29 and the mediums Bobooya Jokbal is $27.

how does this work, isn't it takeout online now and you gotta grill it at home yourself?

The meat is already cooked for you.

I tried calling to order but I never actually got a live person as it kept going to voicemail. I ended up having to go order in person.

Here's what you get with the large Bobooya Bossam . The amount of meat is pretty good for $19 before tax/tip.

All 3 of their bossams are really good. Spicy carbonara is more like SPICY carbonara though.

Rice ball is also great! (It isn't really a rice ball, more like a bunch of ingredients you mix together to eat from the tray)

I'd say it's meant for at least 3 or 4 people... for 2 you'd have to be pretty hungry. Oddly I'd say there wasn't enough lettuce provided, which is probably the cheapest part of the package.

I'd say it's worth it for the $19.

If you are like me, who can eat Five Guys burger + fries + coke, Large will be 2 persons meal with rice or noodles added.

Just get Large and If there's left over,
1) put some oil on frying pan on low heat
2) throw in the left over green onions, onions, garlic, salted shrimp, hot peppers. Let them simmer for few minutes.
3) throw in the left over meat & some hard leafy greens (cabbage, bok choy, etc). Stir fry for few minutes.
**throw in their green onion sauce if you have that left as well
Boom! Another meal.

Their kimchi is way too sweet like dessert. It's more of kimchi flavored candy than real kimchi. That's their only weakness. (Don't get me wrong... I love them & I went to Bobooya twice in last 3 days....)

Thanks OP!
Tried their pork belly and pork hock.
Great deal for large size at around $20.

Anyone tried their garlic and red carbonara versions?
Seems they only offer the default favor despite what their ad states.

P.S. Restaurant may close early tonight for the holidays.
