I went down the rabbit hole looking for a reasonably priced soundbar, and came across this. It has optical (which I was looking for), RCA input, and Bluetooth 5.0. Support and Warranty seem like they're about normal for the industry.

Use the coupon JULY50 to bring it down to $54 USD, free shipping, no tax it looks like. So under $70 CAD?

Walmart is $117 for the same item:

Reviews are good too! It has to be better than the RCA one I have now, a Walmart special.

Get a 3.1 soundbar at minimum. You will rejoice at how much clearer the dialogue of your media is.

Review site just looks like one of those generic amazon review aggregate sites that actually tests nothing and tells you nothing. The product looks like a mediocre cheap generic Chinese product but maybe I am wrong.

Does the 3.1 add a center channel, and the 5.1 does two additional rear.... is that right?

The length of the bar also makes a difference, you don't want to buy a 3.1 when everything is cramped together.

I really miss those "sound-base" a few manufacturers used to make.

Spend a little more and buy a better product brand from an actual Canadian retailer in case you ever have to deal with warranty issues. Even the "Walmart" link you've posted, is from a third party seller.

I mean, ideally I'd go with Costco's warranty but I guess this is a lot more on the budget end compared to what Costco sells. Costco's return policy is always worth it, I totally get that
