A "bookmark" function?

Sometimes I come across a thread I want to read or act on later & I have to bookmark it externally.

It would be nice to be able to bookmark threads within rfd & have a control panel of all the bookmarks so I can more easily review all the things I meant to get to 1 day.

Subscribing to a thread is only useful when people are actively posting to it but some threads have excellent information & no new posts & there is no way for me to find them easily again without a bookmark. (Face it, the search sucks.)

Thoughts?

I assume you already have a lot of subscriptions because otherwise you could use that system (with notification type set to "none") as a sort of bookmarks page. A saved/favourites/bookmarks feature has been brought up before and while it isn't a hard no from us, there doesn't seem to be enough demand for it at the moment, especially when other options like browser bookmarks (like you mentioned) already exist.

If enough people chime in on this thread asking for it, it'll definitely raise the case for us to take another look into adding the feature though.

My subscriptions list is a mess, there are so many threads. If the thread is not active I need to go to Thread History & page, page, page.

I know I can bookmark externally but I have a fantasy of a highly ordered rfd where I can do anything I need within the site.

The alternative would be to have a search function on Subscriptions &/or Thread History.

Anyway, just throwing that out there. Thanks for the quick reply.
