Bought a home, Seller wants to leave a treadmill and an exercise bike

As title suggests. Seller is an old lady who wants to leave her treadmill and exercise bike for us free.
Should I accept? Realtor told that both are functional but I do not know the age or condition.
We currently do not do treadmill but wont mind if it is functional.
Question is - How difficult will it be to dismantle and discard if lets say within an year we find that it is trash.
If we accept right now, it will be difficult to ask her to leave the user manual, any special tools that came with it etc.
What you guys say? Are there any special tools to assemble and take apart the treadmill and the exercise bike?
both items are in the basement
Thanks

Well even if you don't have the right tools there are destructive ways of dismantling things into smaller manageable pieces.

Thank you.
I work on my car so have mm sockets and wrenches. I would not like to take headache of destructive disassembly so curious to know from you guys to own the treadmill whether it is standard tools , wrenches , screw drivers etc or did you receive any special tool to assemble it.
Hell I dont even know what brand it is. There is not much you can ask an old lady . Seems like its yes or not kind of thing.
I am leaning towards No but just thought of checking with rfders.

Ask for a picture from the realtor. If they won't snap you a picture then say no

Manuals can be found on google. For the construction, mine simply needs an Allan key. Of you decide you don't want it, give it away on Facebook. It will be gone in an hour.

I'd hope they saw the treadmill and bike when they looked at the house in person.

Simple really

If you can use the items or want them, then keep them

If you have no use for them, don't want them or whatever, then have the seller remove them.

Seller probably was told by movers it was an extra fee to move those items.

Yes we did see the treadmill and the bike but when we go see the house, focus is on seeing the house and not on the items.
I think I am going Dark Phoenix way. Seller has told that it is functioning for sure. So I am going to keep and try it. If I am not good in dismantling, if I offer free to anyone on kijiji, there might be many people who are good with tools etc and can take it for free.

Very minor inconvenience if you ask me...

At worst, at least in my area, it is a $5 fee to take it to disposal area and/or someone does pick it up if you leave it in the curb. I have had ladders disassembled by whoever it is and picked up - literally removed the screws, etc. Took them 30 mins to remove/disassemble. I've had Britax strollers taken, etc. Heck, believe it or not, there was a hot water tank and 2 people came and ARGUED who came first to take it LOL... I guess everything has a value for people, depending on who...

Treadmill would be harder to disassemble due to bearings, etc... But not impossible... Exercise bike I guarantee someone will pick it up at worst case scenario for whatever, metal parts, etc etc etc

I believe a lot of exercise equipment has gone up in value during covid, dramatically. I have no idea if its even worth anything though

as long as it is functional I am pretty sure you can post it on kijii for free to $200, and someone would come pick it up in a day
